This might look like a boring old photo of 11 people in a generic room full of boxes, but it’s really a photo of elves in clever disguises getting ready to absolutely save Christmas for local families. (Photo provided)

The Noblesville Elks #576 members have been donating food items and money this month to help support 30 local families, led by Jason Snyder.
Over the past 15 years the Noblesville Elks has been able to deliver food boxes to more than 300 local families.
Last Friday, Dec. 19, 15 members gathered at the Elks Lodge to fill boxes to be delivered to members in the community who welcome a little help over the Christmas holiday. The boxes were filled with canned fruits and vegetables, boxed macaroni and cheese, cereals, pop tarts, dessert mixes, and even candy canes. On the Sunday before, the drivers gather to make the deliveries and additional perishable items will be added to help complete their Christmas dinners. Each family will receive a Christmas ham as well.

A total of 15 families from each Noblesville middle school will receive these family Christmas meals.
The Elks who volunteered to pack the boxes included Steve Willey, Bob Fink, Steve Vallier, PER, Nick Vallier, Nolan Vallier, Treva Vallier, Georr Robinson, PSP, Lisa Robinson, Marta Sweitzer, Mike Sweitzer, Phil Anderson, Exalted Ruler, Brian Wanous, Joe Thompson, Thad Holder, Jerry Wides, and Jason Snyder.
Thank you to the Elks members who helped make this happen and to the Tony Etchison Memorial Foundation for the extra support.
