The Hamilton Heights swim teams swept both team championships at their annual Husky Invitational, which took place on Saturday, Dec. 13.
The Heights girls team won by scoring 405 points and finishing first in seven individual events. Amira Leer won the individual medley and backstroke, while Ayla Madara was first in the butterfly and 500 freestyle. Both swam on the Huskies’ two winning relays, joining Quinn Thompson and Audrey Cain to place first in the medley relay, and teaming with Cain and Adi Gould to win the 400 free relay.
Illiana Bowyer won the diving event.
Guerin Catholic scored 194 points. Anna Ososki placed second in diving and joined Evie Scott, Ellie Gove and Kara Van Woerkom to take second in the 400 free relay.
The Heights boys won their championship by scoring 404 points and taking seven individual events. Aiden Clarke won the 200 free and butterfly and swam on both of the Huskies winning relays. He joined Hudson Holt, Rowan Donald and Isaac Correll to take the medley relay and 400 free relay.
Donald was first in the 100 free, while Holt paced the breaststroke. Keegan Kavanaugh won diving.
Guerin Catholic scored 254 points. Sam Holl was first in the IM and the 500 free.
