Sheridan’s boys took an early lead in the Hoosier Heartland Conference race on Friday, Dec. 12 by beating Clinton Central 65-20 on the road.
The Blackhawks were in control from the start and cruised to a 37-15 halftime lead. Trey Page scored 10 points in the first half, including a pair of 3-pointers.
Sheridan was even more dominant in the second half, outscoring the Bulldogs 28-5. Page added another triple in the third quarter, while Jax Peerman scored seven points in the fourth period.
Page finished with 16 points, while Peerman totaled 13. Devon Hamilton added nine points, followed by eight points each for John Crowder and Desh Donathan in a balanced scoring effort.
The Blackhawks are 2-0 in conference play and 3-0 overall. Sheridan goes back on the road this Friday, playing at Eastern in another HHC game.
