Sheridan’s girls got a nice bounce-back win at Tipton Wednesday, beating the Blue Devils 47-31.
The Blackhawks played the night before, falling to Tri-West 58-25 on Tuesday. But Sheridan was in control at Tipton from the beginning, jumping out to a 12-1 lead after one quarter. Lucy Marquis scored six points in that period.
The Hawks led 25-9 at halftime. Sheridan maintained its lead around that margin for the second half; Sadie Timme helped out with 10 points, including a 4-of-4 effort from the free-throw line.
Timme was the leading scorer with 12 points, the first of four Sheridan players in double digits. Marquis finished with 11 points, Brielle Garner scored 10, including two 3s, and Makenzy Terry also had 10 points, scoring in each quarter.
