The University swim teams competed at the 2025 Waterpalooza Invite, which took place Saturday, Dec. 20 at the VCSC Aquatic Center in Terre Haute.
The Trailblazers placed seventh in the girls meet, scoring 52.5 points. Noa Calili won the breaststroke event and placed third in the 200 freestyle.
University’s boys scored 17 points to place seventh. Nolan Barger was 11th in the backstroke.
GIRLS MEET
200 freestyle: 3. Noa Calili 2:03.30.
50 freestyle: 10. Nia Williams 28.45, 19. Madie Encinia 30.59, 32. Samantha Purdie 35.72.
100 freestyle: T19. Encinia 1:09.50, 30. Purdie 1:22.18.
100 breaststroke: 1. Calili 1:08.94.
BOYS MEET
200 freestyle: 14. Cael Head 2:24.17.
50 freestyle: 27. Isaiah Hoffman 35.52.
100 butterfly: 14. Head 1:09.82.
100 freestyle: 19. Nolan Barger 1:01.32, 33. Hoffman 1:24.35.
100 backstroke: 11. Barger 1:08.78.
