The heart of Tipton will once again twinkle with Christmas lights, laughter, and the joyful spirit of the holidays as the Tipton Main Street Association plays host to the 10th annual ’Tis the Season celebration, presented by STAR Financial Bank, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5.
For 10 years, Tipton’s downtown has transformed into a winter wonderland filled with cherished traditions, family fun, and that unmistakable small-town charm that makes the holidays feel like home. This year’s milestone event promises even more Christmas magic – from live reindeer on the Tipton Library lawn and free family photos with Santa, to Mrs. Claus story time, the annual Cookie Walk, and countless festive stations hosted by local businesses and organizations.
“It’s not really Christmas in Tipton until Santa arrives on Main Street to hear every child’s wish,” said Shelly Powell, Tipton Main Street Association 10-year committee co-chair. “For 10 wonderful years, this event has brought our community together – a cherished tradition where generations gather, memories are made, and the true spirit of the season comes alive under the glow of our downtown lights.”
