The event combined fun and philanthropy, raising funds to ensure children in Hamilton County have a joyful Christmas they might not otherwise experience.
In addition to the golf outing, more than $20,000 worth of auction items were donated and made available through an online auction open to both golfers and non-golfers. The generosity of sponsors, participants, and donors helped make this year’s event one of the most successful yet.
All proceeds from the event will stay within Hamilton County, directly supporting children and families in need. This December, Shop for Kids plans to take several dozen children shopping for Christmas gifts, spending approximately $250 to $300 per child. Furthermore, one lucky student at Hamilton Heights will be awarded the Doug Carter Scholarship later this school year, continuing the organization’s mission of giving back and investing in the community’s youth.
This organization is led by President Dustin Dixon with Founder Todd Green.
