Hamilton Southeastern put together a fine defensive performance on Tuesday, beating Cathedral 43-22 in an away game.
The Class 4A No. 6 Royals outscored the Irish in all four quarters, leading 10-4 after one period and 18-9 at halftime. This was the second game this season where Southeastern held an opponent under 30 points.
Kayla Stidham scored 16 points and made four steals. Kennedy Holman did everything, earning a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds. She also made eight steals and dished out four assists. Abby Orme scored 11 points.
The Royals are 3-1 and host Franklin Central on Friday to begin Hoosier Crossroads Conference play.
