Westfield took care of business at Mt. Vernon Tuesday with a 63-36 win over the Marauders.
Mt. Vernon led 13-11 after one quarter, but it was all Shamrocks after that. Westfield led 25-20 at halftime, MaKayla Hatcher helped out with seven points in the second quarter.
The Rocks dominated the third period by scoring 20 points on their way to a 45-27 lead. Ellie Wheeler had nine points while Lillian Clark drained two 3-pointers. Westfield kept rolling through the fourth quarter, pouring in another 18 points.
Wheeler finished the game with 19 points, totaling three triples. Clark scored 12 points, with her fellow freshman Gabby Bassett adding 10 points.
The Shamrocks are 3-2 and are scheduled to host Fishers on Friday.
