Hamilton Heights got a win on the road Saturday, Nov. 22, beating Danville 66-55.
The Huskies led 16-14 after one quarter, with Zoey Curry scoring nine points. Heights jumped ahead 34-27 by halftime, including a 13-0 run at the beginning of the second period. Bayleigh Eisele scored six points of that run, with Addison Blum draining a 3-pointer to finish the spurt.
The Warriors cut into the Huskies’ lead slightly in the third quarter and were within 45-41 going into the fourth quarter. But Heights turned on its offense in the fourth quarter, scoring 21 points. Riley Suarez had 13 points in the fourth.
Suarez finished the game with 22 points, the first of four double-digit Huskies scorers, and collected seven rebounds. Bayleigh Eisele added 19 points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals.
Addison Blum totaled 12 points and Zoey Curry scored 19. Stella Taylor made four steals.
Heights is 4-2 and hosts Huntington North this Saturday afternoon.
