The Sheridan girls basketball team won a 45-33 game over Western Boone Tuesday at Larry Hobbs Gymnasium.
The Blackhawks outscored the Stars in each period, leading 10-7 after the first quarter and 21-16 at halftime. Sheridan held a 35-27 advantage after three quarters.
Sadie Timme led the scoring with 17 points, also pulling seven rebounds and making four steals. Brielle Garner was next with 11 points.
Makenzy Terry totaled six points, while Olivia Long had five points and five rebounds. Lucy Marquis and Teagan Horney completed the scoring with three points each; Horney also collected four rebounds.
Sheridan is 3-3 and returns to action on Dec. 5 with a game at Clinton Prairie. It will be the Hoosier Heartland Conference opener for the Hawks.
