You helped raise $50,000
A huge thank you to everyone who donated during the friendly competition between the cities of Carmel and Westfield. Thanks to the generosity of these communities, HCHFB raised more than $50,000 for the food bank, a truly incredible feat!
In the end, Carmel won the challenge by raising $27,632.81, while Westfield raised $22,494. But, it was a competition where the biggest winner is the community because all proceeds will help purchase food for neighbors in need.
Giving Tuesday is coming up
Giving Tuesday on Dec. 2 is a day to support your favorite nonprofit organizations, and HCHFB would love to be part of your gift list.
When you donate money to the food bank, HCHFB can purchase much-needed food for hungry Hamilton County residents. All donations go toward the purchase of food.

Thank you to Gaylor Electric & Deaton Mechanical
HCHFB gives a huge shout out to Gaylor Electric and Deaton Mechanical for getting the walk-in cooler and freezer up and running so the food bank can provide protein to partner pantries.
While nonperishable foods are essential to pantries, protein, dairy and other perishables are critically needed as well. These appliances allow fresh food to be stored until it’s ready to be distributed to the pantries that need it.
