Multiple donors team up to “Power Potential” for Club Kids
Now through Dec. 2, the Tom & Soni Sheehan Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville will participate in Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving that encourages and celebrates philanthropy worldwide.
The Club will host a campaign to “Power the Potential” for thousands of local kids. The first $41,500 in donations to the campaign will be generously matched thanks to George Kristo, Tim & Beth Meister, Tom & Bev Tocash, and Scannell Properties.

“We are profoundly grateful for the donors who help power the potential of our Club Kids,” BGCN Executive Director Becky Terry said. “When young people have what they need – a safe place to go after school, caring mentors, homework help, healthy snacks, and opportunities to lead – they become who they want to be and who our community needs. Our donors make that possible.”
This year, the Club’s goal is to surpass last year’s total of $132,000 that was raised during the campaign.
In 2024, BGCN served 2,184 local youth with its affordable, high-impact after school programs while serving more than 34,000 healthy snacks and nutritious meals. As a community staple for 74 years, the Club has offered local kids after school programs and opportunities to experience new things and be themselves in a place they can call their own.
“Our future depends on today’s kids,” Terry continued. “But right now, they depend on all of us to see their potential and help them achieve it. Every gift fuels the skills, confidence, and experiences that prepare young people to thrive. We are deeply thankful for every supporter who stands with the Boys & Girls Club to open doors, lift up our youth, and ensure their futures remain full of promise.”
A peer-to-peer fundraising campaign is taking place now through Dec. 2. Donations can be made by calling the Club, dropping off a donation, or donating online by visiting tinyurl.com/Power-Their-Potential.
