Six themed trees to debut at Cowboy Carnival this weekend
The Westfield Library Foundation (WLF) is decking the halls early with the return of its much-anticipated Christmas Tree Raffle. Six themed trees, each sponsored by community partners, will make their debut this weekend at the Westfield Washington Public Library.
Each tree is custom-designed and decorated by WLF Executive Director Erin Downey and an interior designer. This year’s tree lineup includes:
- “Country Christmas” – Sponsored by The Farmers Bank
- “Winter Wonderland” – Sponsored by The Farmers Bank
- “Crimson Christmas” – Sponsored by the City of Westfield
- “Joy to the World” – Sponsored by Dean Ballenger Agency
- “North Pole Cooking Co.” – Sponsored by Greek’s Pizzeria
- “Christmas in Black and White” – Sponsored by Meijer
All the trees, except for the Country Christmas tree, will be raffled off on Monday, Dec. 1. The Country Christmas tree will be part of a silent auction at the Foundation’s Cowboy Carnival adults-only fundraiser on Saturday, Nov. 1.
“The trees are a labor of love,” Downey said. “Every ribbon, ornament, and color choice is designed to spark joy. When someone takes one home, they’re not just winning a beautifully decorated tree – they’re helping the library grow programs and spaces that bring that same sense of wonder to our whole community.”
Raffle tickets for the public drawing will be $10 each and sold at the library and online starting on Saturday, Nov. 1 with sales closing on Sunday, Nov. 30. Winners will be drawn at noon on Monday, Dec. 1. The Foundation hopes to raise $10,000 to support its mission to enhance library programming and services.
