A cause worth celebrating
The proceeds from the Lasagna Dinner are dedicated to a meaningful cause: funding scholarships for Sheridan Community School seniors who plan to pursue a career in the medical field after graduation. Phi Beta Psi is a civic sorority bringing women together to raise money for cancer research and to aid families impacted by cancer. In addition to supporting educational aspirations, the event also contributes to local benevolence programs, ensuring that funds are reinvested into the Sheridan community to help those in need.
Teamwork makes the dream work
The success of this event is a testament to the generosity and dedication of Sheridan’s Phi Beta Psi Sorority members. Eighteen sorority members volunteered their time to organize and serve at the Lasagna Dinner, ensuring that everything ran smoothly throughout the evening. Meanwhile, 24 members put their baking skills to work, preparing a wide array of desserts that delighted attendees and added a sweet touch to the meal.

By coming together for this annual dinner, Sheridan’s Phi Beta Psi Sorority not only raises funds for important causes but also strengthens the bonds within the community. The event embodies the spirit of service, support, and celebration that makes Sheridan such a special place to live and learn.
A heartfelt thanks to Sheridan Community Schools, all the volunteers, and the dessert-makers whose hard work made the evening a huge success. With each year, this tradition continues to enrich lives, inspire future leaders, and uplift the Sheridan community.
