Hamilton Southeastern held off Franklin Central to win 38-35 Friday, Oct. 10 in a home Hoosier Crossroads Conference game.
The Flashes went up 14-0 in the first quarter, but the Royals’ Henry Wans got Southeastern on the board during the final minute of the period with a kickoff return touchdown. The Royals took a 17-14 lead by halftime; Wans scored a second-quarter touchdown off an interception return and Luke Marchionni made a field goal.
Southeastern added 21 points in the second half. Wans picked up his third touchdown of the game on another kickoff-return score. Kendrick Pennybaker caught a TD reception from Deaken Johnson, then Carter Reed scored a rushing touchdown.

The Royals are 3-3 in conference play and 5-3 overall, and travel to Brownsburg this Friday to finish the regular season.
