Several Hamilton County boys tennis players received places on the Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association’s 2025 All-State teams.
Three local players were named to First Team Singles: Carmel senior Wes Worobel, Guerin Catholic junior Charlie Phillips and Hamilton Southeastern junior Brady Stump. Two doubles team were named to First Team Doubles: Carmel juniors Jude Sangar and David Liu and the Southeastern team of sophomore Landon Osswald and junior Logan Foust.
Second Team Singles honors went to Carmel senior Andrew Kim, University senior Kothe Birge and Westfield senior Parker Paramoure. Two county teams were named Second Team Doubles: The Fishers duo of senior Jack Hunley and junior Eshan Jain and the Guerin Catholic team of senior David Cacchillo and junior Nick Sills.
The following players were named Honorable Mention Singles: Carmel senior Vishal Shankar, Fishers sophomore Dylan Campbell, Guerin Catholic sophomore Jack Tiplick, Hamilton Southeastern junior Evan Holderman and freshman Parker Stump and Westfield junior Ajay Prasanna and sophomore Luke Stoecker.
County doubles teams named Honorable Mention Doubles were: Carmel seniors Rajeev Singh and Andrew Hall, the Noblesville duo of senior Parker Stallings and junior Dustin Turpin and the University team of senior Nick Quinto and junior Carson Kilgore.
All of the above-mentioned players were named to the All District 6 team as well. University coach Brandon Hogan was named District 6 Coach of the Year.
Academic All-State
The IHSTeCA also announced its Academic All-State individual team.
Senior players are eligible for the award and must have a minimum grade-point average of 3.8 and an SAT score of 1280 or ACT score of 27. Players must have been a varsity participant in a minimum of 50 percent of all contests.
Hamilton County’s Academic All-State players are:
Carmel: Andrew Kim, Mahesh Duvvuri, Vishal Shankar.
Fishers: Eshan Jain, Jack Hunley.
Guerin Catholic: David Cacchillo.
Hamilton Southeastern: Ian Ransom, Max Weinberger.
Noblesville: Parker Stallings.
In addition, Carmel, Fishers, Hamilton Southeastern, Noblesville and Westfield were all honored as Academic All-State teams. The award is based on players’ cumulative GPA throughout high school and teams must have a 3.6 to be eligible.
