Nine years ago, Christine and Sammy Brewster of Noblesville were talking with some local people who were saying they couldn’t afford to travel, take vacations, or take part in big events. The Brewsters decided they should put on a free event for the whole community. Called “Haunt on Hannibal” the party has only grown each year. Next year’s 10th annual Haunt is planned to be bigger and more exciting than ever.
The Brewsters said that while people try to tip or donate, that is not what Haunt on Hannibal is about. They want to make it an event where everyone can just relax and have a nice family time without worrying about money.
