Go Purple with Prevail during Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Today kicks off the month of October, which we know well as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

As we welcome October, we once again invite you to #GoPurpleWithPrevail. This year, our theme is clear and powerful: Respect is the Standard, Safety is the Foundation. These words guide everything we do and reflect the world we strive to create, where everyone feels safe, valued, and heard.

Your support empowers Prevail to walk alongside survivors every day, offering compassion, resources, and hope. Because of you, countless individuals and families have found the strength to rebuild their lives with dignity and courage.

While we’ve made great strides, our work is far from over.

Domestic violence continues to impact far too many lives in our community. At Prevail, we see the strength of survivors firsthand – their stories fuel our mission and remind us why we must keep pushing for change.

Throughout October, we invite you to join us in raising awareness, sparking conversations, and taking action. Together, we can challenge the root causes of violence and build a culture grounded in respect and safety for all.
