On Monday, Oct. 13, Fishers Police responded to a report of a sexual assault that occurred at Massage Finesse in the Towne Center of Geist shopping center northeast of the intersection of East 116th Street and Olio Road.
The victim, a female, called police after she said she was sexually assaulted by a male masseuse who goes by “David” during a massage. Fishers Police detectives conducted an investigation, which included applying for and being granted a search warrant for Massage Finesse.

On Thursday, Oct. 16, Fishers Police executed the search warrant. The suspect, Xinjun Zhu, disobeyed orders to stop and retreated toward the back, away from officers, but was eventually taken into custody. During the execution of the search warrant, six people were detained and believed to be living inside the business. Only one person, Zhu, was arrested and taken into custody for charges related to the sexual assault.
Because it is believed that the employees were living in the business, Code Enforcement closed the business, and the property owners changed the locks.
The Fishers Police Department was assisted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which helped solely in a linguistic capacity, and the Homeland Security Investigations.
Charges include: Two counts of Rape (Felony 3), Sexual Battery (Felony 6), Criminal Confinement (Felony 6), and Resisting Law Enforcement (Class A Misdemeanor).
The raid happened just a day after multiple search warrants were executed at other spas in the area. On Wednesday, Oct. 15, three people were arrested on charges of human trafficking and prostitution following searches at various spas and homes.
It remains unclear if the raid at the Fishers massage business is connected to the previous day’s investigation.
Note: A charge is merely an accusation, and the arrested person is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
