A Diwali Celebration took place Thursday evening, Oct. 9, at The Gathering House, 1372 Cherry St., Noblesville. Hosted by the Noblesville Diversity Coalition, this Festival of Lights featured vibrant colors, delicious food, and other joyful Hindu traditions, thanks in large part to Pooja Thakkar and Sonal Patel (seen below).

Of note were the dancers of Abhijwala Dance Studio (seen at top), who shared their talents with attendees. Sowmya Harish of Abhijwala Dance Studio told The Reporter that the dancers will also appear at the Fishers Diwali from 5 to 9 p.m. this Saturday, Oct. 11, at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater, 6 Municipal Drive.
