Hamilton County’s two other boys tennis sectional sites will feature all-county showdowns this afternoon.
Fishers is hosting Sectional 31, and the No. 20-ranked Tigers will take on No. 9 Hamilton Southeastern in today’s championship at 4:30 p.m. Both teams won their semifinals 5-0 on Wednesday, with the Tigers beating Anderson and HSE sweeping Pendleton Heights.
Fishers got wins from No. 1 Dylan Campbell, No. 2 Chaddha Siddharth and No. 3 Rohen Manlandan in singles, and from the doubles teams of No. 1 Eshan Jain and Jackson Hunley and No.2 Raito Hidaka and Hanju Park.
The Royals’ victories came from No. 1 Brady Stump, No. 2 Parker Stump and No. 3 Evan Holderman in singles. No. 1 doubles Logan Foust and Landon Osswald and No. 2 Max Weinberger and Ian Ransom all got wins.
At Noblesville
Noblesville is hosting Sectional 56, with the Millers advancing to face No. 11 Westfield in today’s championship. Action begins at 4:30 p.m.
Both teams reached the final with 5-0 semifinal wins. Noblesville beat Hamilton Heights; the Millers got singles wins from No. 1 Dane Campbell, No. 2 Zack Couzens and No. 3 Elijah Mason. No. 1 doubles Parker Stallings and Dustin Turpin and No. 2 doubles Joey Schmiegel and Nicky Schmeigerl also were winners.
The Shamrocks got past a tough Lapel team. No. 1 singles Parker Paramoure won 6-1, 7-6, with No. 2 Luke Stoecker and No. 3 Ajay Prasanna also getting straight-set victories. In doubles, No. 1 Lleyton Steill and Payton Paramoure came back to win their match 5-7, 7-6 (5), 6-2. No. 2 doubles Ben Soukop and Charlie Juleen won in straight sets.
