The Sheridan girls soccer team rolled to another Hoosier Heartland Conference championship on Thursday.
The Class 1A No. 10 Blackhawks beat Taylor 9-0 in an away game. With the victory, Sheridan finished conference play at 4-0 and secured its fourth consecutive HCC championship.
Avery Hills led the scoring with three goals and two assists. Ji Warren added two goals, while Sadie Timme put in one goal and dished out one assist. Norah Stites, Abby Dallas, Olivia Long each scored one goal.
Brielle Garner handed out three assists, while Savanna Kirlin and Molly Pottorff both made one assist. Goalkeeper Makenzy Terry earned her 10th shutout and finished the regular season with a school-record 1.09 goals-against average.
The Blackhawks are 10-3-1 for the season. Sheridan hosts Class 1A Sectional 38 next week; the Hawks play Alexandria at 7 p.m. Tuesday in a first-round game.

Fishers and 2A No. 12 Guerin Catholic played to a 0-0 tie on Thursday.
The Tigers are 6-8-3 and play Pendleton Heights at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in Class 3A Sectional 8 action at Hamilton Southeastern. The Golden Eagles are 3-11-2 and play Bishop Chatard at 6 p.m. Tuesday to begin Class 2A Sectional 26 at Park Tudor.
