The Westfield volleyball team edged out Brownsburg on the road Wednesday, beating the Class 4A No. 9 Bulldogs in a five-set Hoosier Crossroads Conference match.
The score was 19-25, 26-24, 17-25, 25-15, 15-6. Carsyn Comer blasted 19 kills, while Georgia Bresnahan (14 kills and 10 digs). Emily Blevins (30 assists and 12 digs) both reached double-double territory. Kendyl Strack collected 26 digs to lead the 4A No. 1 Shamrocks’ defense.
Westfield is 4-1 in the conference and 17-1 overall. The Rocks play at North Central on Monday.

Carmel swept North Central on Tuesday, 25-14, 25-17, 25-8.
London Evans put down 12 kills, while Tennie Anderson and Lila Bruszewski both served four aces and Evans served three. Sarah Neglia dished out 15 assists and Evans handed out 14 assists.
Evans collected 13 digs on defense, with Lucianna Pinyerd making three blocks.
Carmel is 9-11 for the season.

Guerin Catholic picked up a Tuesday sweep of Warren Central, 25-11, 25-14, 25-11.
Emery Cardinal spiked 13 kills for the Class 3A No. 9 Golden Eagles. Reese Canada served four aces, while Claire Ducey handed out 34 assists. Canada also scooped up eight digs.
Guerin Catholic is 15-5 and plays tonight at North Central.

Hamilton Southeastern beat 3A No. 2 Roncalli in a four-set all-Royals matchup on Tuesday.
The score was 20-25, 25-23, 25-22, 25-12. Madi Miles led 4A No. 3 Southeastern with 24 kills, while Merritt Sliwa put down 17 kills. Jasmine Daniels dished out 24 assists and Maggie Sliwa handed out 16 assists.
Maye McConnell collected 21 digs, with Madi Miles making 18 digs and Daniels scooping up 11. Southeastern had strong blocking: Raegan Miles made six blocks, Madi Miles had five, Bre Morgan made four blocks, while Mia Zabel and Sliwa both had three.
Southeastern is 18-2 and hosts Zionsville tonight in a 7:30 p.m. HCC match.

Hamilton Heights swept Lapel Wednesday, 25-19, 25-22, 25-7.
Aubrey Cloncs had a strong game for the Huskies, hitting several kills.
Heights is 15-4 and plays at Pendleton Heights tonight.
