The IHSAA released the pairings for its Unified Flag Football sectional tournaments on Monday.
A total of 46 teams, including six from Hamilton County will play in the eight sectionals across the state. Hamilton Heights will host a seven-team sectional, with action starting on Saturday, Oct. 4.
The first game will see Fishers take on Carmel at 10 a.m., followed by two games starting at 11:15 a.m. Lawrence Central plays Hamilton Southeastern, while Warren Central takes on Hamilton Heights, with the winners facing off in the semifinals.
Noblesville got the bye and will play Fishers or Carmel in the other semifinal. Both semifinal games begin at 12:30 p.m., with the winners advancing to the 2:15 p.m. championship game.
Westfield will play at the McCutcheon sectional, which also consists of seven teams. The Shamrocks take on Pike in a 2 p.m. first-round game, with the winner advancing to the semifinals to play the winner of a first-round game between Zionsville and Twin Lakes. That semifinal will be the second semifinal game and start at 5 p.m.
Harrison and Blackford will play a first-round game, and the winner will take on McCutcheon in the first semifinal, which starts at 3:30 p.m. The semifinal winners play in the 6:30 p.m. championship game.
