Noblesville fell to Franklin Central 37-10 Friday, Sept. 26 in an away Hoosier Crossroads Conference game.
The Flashes led 9-0 after the first quarter. Caden Lydle got the Millers on the board midway through the second quarter with a 33-yard field goal, but Franklin Central put up two touchdowns later in the period to lead 23-3 at halftime.
The Flashes scored two more TDs in the fourth quarter. Noblesville’s Noah Shinkle scored a touchdown late in the game on a 65-yard run, and Lydle made the extra-point kick.
Shinkle totaled 124 yards rushing, while quarterback Windsor Hutchins was 15-of-28 through the air for 155 yards.
The Millers are 0-4 in conference play and 1-5 overall. Noblesville plays at Hamilton Southeastern this Friday.
