Carmel’s Karis Reid will get the opportunity to win another Drive, Chip and Putt championship.
The Greyhounds freshman qualified for the annual tournament at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Ga. – the home of the Masters tournament – by winning the Drive, Chip and Putt regional qualifier Sunday, Sept. 14 at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville. Reid qualified in the Girls 14-15 division.
“It feels great,” said Reid. “It’s really a blessing from God. It’s just amazing to get another opportunity to go back.”
Reid won the Drive, Chip, Putt championship in 2024 in the Girls 12-13 division. She scored 27 points out of a possible 30, winning by an eight-point margin.
The 2026 Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals take place April 5 at Augusta National.
