The Indiana Wind Symphony unveils its 2025–2026 concert season, featuring a captivating lineup of performances designed to enchant audiences of all ages, and warmly welcomes Nicole Keller as its new executive director.
Keller brings volunteer and professional administrative experience in nonprofits, arts and mission-driven organizations. She is an editor and consultant serving both corporate and nonprofit clients, including the North Central High School Band Parent Organization. Keller also serves as vice president of KZIA, Inc., a broadcast and digital media company in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and is a proud member of the University of Texas Longhorn Alumni Band and the (Iowa) City High School Alumni Marching Band.
“Nicole is a valued addition to the Indiana Wind Symphony team,” said Board President Tim Cox, a percussionist with the ensemble. “Her fresh perspective, innovative ideas and thoughtful approach will enhance the important work of our board of directors as we continue advancing the mission of the Indiana Wind Symphony.”
A lifelong musician and advocate for arts education, Keller is passionate about supporting and growing community-based arts organizations like the Indiana Wind Symphony. She first experienced the ensemble through her son Cole’s tenor saxophone teacher, Cheri Brightman, who has performed with the Symphony since its inception.
“I’m really just a grown-up band kid, and I can’t wait for the opportunity to support the performers and music educators of the Indiana Wind Symphony as a professional band booster,” Keller said. “What an exciting opportunity to help the IWS continue to share significant music for wind ensemble and bring new audience members to experience the joy and inspiration I feel as a fan.”
