This September, during Leukemia and Lymphoma Awareness Month, the community is invited to gather for a very special evening of hope, connection, and giving back. Collective Beauty Salon & Med Spa will play host to “An Evening of Light and Hope” to benefit to benefit The Lymphoma Research Foundation.
The event will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25 at Collective Beauty Salon & Med Spa, 380 E. Main St., Westfield.
The event will feature a guest appearance by reality TV personality and author Gerry Turner, who was diagnosed in 2024 with Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia, a slow-growing but incurable form of bone marrow cancer. He will share his personal journey during a live Q&A session, followed by opportunities for attendees to meet him, take photos, and hear about his upcoming book.
“We wanted to create an uplifting event where the community could come together, raise funds for lifesaving cancer research, and celebrate beauty, wellness, and resilience,” said Sheri Ikerd, owner of Collective Beauty Salon & Med Spa.
Highlights of the evening include:
- Q&A and photo opportunities with Gerry Turner
- Light bites and drinks provided by local restaurants
- Swag bags, giveaways, and exclusive beauty vendor experiences
- Sponsorship support from: Center for Advanced Wound Healing of Westfield, Merz Aesthetics, Revance, Prollenium, Alma Lasers, L’Oréal Kérastase, Redken, and Westfield businesses.
- Giveaway prizes, including dinner with Turner and his girlfriend Lana and an autographed copy of his upcoming book
Tickets are available at CollectiveBeautySalonSpa.com, with proceeds benefitting The Lymphoma Research Foundation.
This is more than an evening out – it’s a chance to unite as a community, support cancer research, and share in an inspiring night of beauty, wellness, and hope.
