The Guerin Catholic girls tennis team swept Pendleton Heights 5-0 on Wednesday to win its Senior Night meet.
Six of the seven players on the No. 1-ranked Golden Eagles’ lineup were seniors. The only exception was No. 1 singles, where freshman Emily Pasman won her match 6-0, 6-0.
No. 2 singles Kara Buehnerkemper was a 6-2, 6-0 winner, while No. 3 singles Lilliana Su picked up a 6-1, 6-1 victory. In doubles, the No. 1 team of Anna Kolb and Katie Kolb won their match 6-1, 6-0, while the No. 2 team of Lillian Quigley and Courtney Bassi were 6-2, 6-2 winners.

Rankings update
Guerin Catholic remains on top in this week’s Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association poll, followed by Brebeuf Jesuit at No. 2, Park Tudor at No. 3 and Carmel at No. 4.
Westfield is ranked No. 10, with Fishers rated No. 16 and Hamilton Southeastern ranked No. 27. University is in the rankings at No. 30; the Trailblazers won the Whiteland Invitational on Saturday, May 2 and followed that up with a 4-1 victory over Covenant Christian on Tuesday.
