Westfield Washington Schools (WWS) has announced that Sara Agee has been named the new Assistant Principal of Washington Woods Elementary School, effective Jan. 26.
Agee currently serves as an Instructional Coach at Shamrock Springs Elementary School, where she supports teachers and teams through coaching cycles, professional learning, and data-informed instructional practices. Her new role at Washington Woods was unanimously approved by the WWS Board of School Trustees at tonight’s board meeting.
With nearly two decades of experience in education, Agee brings a strong record of leadership and a deep commitment to student growth. She previously served as an Assistant Principal from 2014-2023 at Mohawk Trails Elementary School in Carmel Clay Schools, which earned National Blue Ribbon School recognition in 2019. Earlier in her career, she taught at Nora Elementary (MSD Washington Township) and has experience as a Spanish classroom teacher across multiple grade levels.
Agee’s leadership experience includes building and strengthening MTSS systems, supporting PLC implementation, coordinating major assessments, partnering with families, and leading staff development focused on evidence-based instruction and equitable outcomes for all learners.
Agee earned a Master of Science in Educational Administration from Butler University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Indiana University. She also brings extensive professional learning and certifications that support literacy, school safety, and instructional leadership.
