The Guerin Catholic group is a highly motivated and talented group that looks to make some noise throughout the season and into the state tournament.
“We can see with LG, Titus and Lauren. We have good shooters,” coach Danielle Cardinal said. “So, you’ve got good shooters and people who understand the game. They’re athletes and willing to work.”
Depth will help this squad and it also helps that the youngsters aren’t afraid to dive right in and contribute.
Cardinal also commented on Guerin’s schedule.
“Our conference is brutal. Chatard, Roncalli and Brebeuf will all have banner years,” said Cardinal. “We have to have a great night. They have to have a bad night and we still might get our teeth kicked in. In the next three years, we’re talking to Roncalli and say, Guerin Catholic is really good. I don’t like to shy away from these games that will be really tough for us, because it teaches the kids so much.”
