Boomer, the Indiana Pacers mascot, visited Sheridan Elementary School (SES) Tuesday morning. He brought loads of energy to the excited students as he dazzled the crowd with tricks and twists.
Boomer brought to SES a “Read to Succeed” message as he helped the students learn the importance of reading and setting goals while he showed off his dunking and stunting.
Students did a fantastic job of demonstrating their Blackhawk pride as they represented their school. Boomer got every student involved with the action on the court. It was a terrific way to start fall break.
A huge thank you to Boomer and the Indiana Pacers for bringing such an inspiring and entertaining program to SES.
