Westfield Washington Schools (WWS) announces that Hannah Eggert has been named the next Assistant Principal of Carey Ridge Elementary School.
Eggert currently serves as a second-grade teacher at Oak Trace Elementary School, where she has been an educator for the past nine years. Throughout her time in the classroom, she has been recognized for her commitment to student learning, collaboration with colleagues, and strong partnerships with families. She has also taken on leadership roles within the school community, including mentoring a student teacher and serving as a representative in the district’s Professional Learning Community Academy.
In addition to her classroom leadership, Eggert gained administrative experience as the Summer School Administrator for WWS in Summer 2025, where she coordinated programming, supported staff, communicated with families, and ensured students received targeted academic support aligned with IREAD expectations. She also completed multiple semesters as a principal intern at Oak Trace Elementary and Westfield High School, supporting school leadership teams with professional development, student data analysis, safety planning, and student support initiatives.
Eggert earned her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership with Administrative Licensure from Purdue University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Indianapolis, where she was also a member and captain of the university’s women’s soccer team.

Outside the classroom, Eggert has been deeply involved in student activities and athletics. She served as the Westfield High School Girls Varsity Soccer Coach from 2018 through winter 2025, building strong relationships with student-athletes and families while leading the program for seven seasons.
Carey Ridge Elementary Principal Scott Chambers expressed enthusiasm for Eggert joining the leadership team.
