Fishers began its season with a solid 54-36 win Tuesday at Ben Davis.
The Tigers dominated the first half, leading 13-4 after the opening quarter and 27-11 at halftime. Junior Lillian Burns scored eight points, including two 3-pointers, while sophomore Ella Burleson added seven points.
Burleson drained two triples in the third quarter, which helped the Tigers stay on top 43-27 by the end of the period. Natalie Thomas scored six points, then added another five in the fourth quarter.
Both Burleson and Thomas scored in each quarter. Thomas finished the game with 15 points, while Burleson contributed 14 points, totaling three 3s.
Fishers goes back on the road Saturday, playing at Center Grove.
