The City of Carmel will hold its 2025 Veterans Day Ceremony this Friday, Nov. 7 to honor the men and women who have served our country. This year’s theme, “Families of the Brave,” pays special tribute to the sacrifices and unwavering support of military families.
Everyone in the community is invited to attend this meaningful event, set for noon to 1 p.m. at The Tarkington Theater at Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts, 3 Carter Green.
As part of the annual tradition, the ceremony will also recognize the winners of the city-wide Veterans Day poster and essay contest held among Carmel elementary school students. Winning posters will be displayed, and the student essay winners will read their entries aloud.
All veterans, military families, and members of the public are encouraged to attend.

- Carmel VFW Post 10003 Honor Guard

- Reverend George Davis, Carmel Police Chaplain, U.S. Army Veteran

- Tim Hannon, Retired U.S. Navy Captain
- Ashley Nicole, Performer
- Thomas Oestreich, Carmel Clay Schools Superintendent
